At times there are community initiatives that, in order to achieve success, require a coordinated and/or collaborative approach. This section of our website provides information on many of the initiatives Logan County FCFC is overseeing in conjunction with initiatives that have their own home pages (Service Coordination, Help Me Grow, Drug Free Coalition, and Project Child).
All initiatives fit within the Core Functions of Council:
1. Building Capacity for Community Change
A collaborative must be organized to be effective. Capacity focuses primarily on enhancing membership to increase involvement, outreach, leadership, and cultural competency. A working organizational chart is essential to effectiveness. The collaborative needs to have legal standing and a funding structure.
