The Drug Free Youth Coalition has several opportunities for members to become involved. Please review the following opportunities and complete the form indicating your level of interest based on your time and talents.
Opportunities Available:
Board Member: The Board is the governing body of the coalition and will be responsible for grant writing and ensuring that the money received by grants is appropriated by the grant budgets, approving by-laws, grant applications, and grant expenditures.
Implementation Committee Member: This committee is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the coalition’s strategic and action plan that drives prevention activities in the community.
Youth Council Member: The Council is responsible for coordinating youth-led prevention efforts in the county and advising the coalition on logic behind youth substance abuse.
Affiliate Member: Non-voting members that support the goals and objectives of the Drug Free Youth Coalition by attending special events, quarterly meetings, and advocate on behalf of the coalition.
