Child Find is the process of locating children, age birth to six, living in Logan County who are suspected of a developmental delay or disability. The Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) identifies the requirements for FCFC and the schools to seek and find children who are suspected of a delay or disability and determine if they qualify for Part B (pre-school age) or Part C (birth to 3) services. The sub-committee is responsible to identify events, venues, and activities where child find can occur and then to coordinate and oversee such implementation.
