Safe Beginnings

Safe Beginnings is an interagency communication protocol to ensure safe and healthy beginnings for Logan County’s babies.

The Safe Beginnings sub-committee of Project Child is responsible for considering the coordination of community services and resources that support the health and safety of infants and toddlers in Logan County, to monitor trends to know how the community is doing in keeping the smallest residents healthy and safe, and to be a dialog table for brainstorming and harvesting ideas for how to do better.  This includes ongoing monitoring of a communication protocol to ensure agencies are making mandated reports and referrals to early intervention services when applicable.
